Latest 5 Day weather forecast for Sheffield

If you are not familiar with the weather in Britain the best advice we can give is that it changes a lot but it is rarely too hot, or too wet or too windy. I suggest you look at the 5-day weather forecast from time to time and you'll see what I mean. You will also realise that the forecast for two or three days ahead is usually wrong.

Yesterday (1st July) we had clear skies and very nice warm sunshine with clear fresh air, we had some research workshop meetings outside on the grass. Overnight we had heavy rain and today was less sunny with rain showers, going home I felt quite chilly.

It is not likely to be cold but have a good variety of clothes and maybe an umbrella is a good idea. Most hotels are a short walk from the conference and in July we can have clear hot weather or wet windy weather (both in the same day if you are lucky)

If you are planning to come on our country walk on Saturday 19 July, make sure you have some good shoes (in Britain we say "sensible" shoes) and a lightweight waterproof. Expect the worst, hope for the best and you will not be disappointed.
